Visiting Chichen Itza is an amazing experience. A two hour guided tour will leave you breathless and longing for more. The Great Pyramid, The Ball Park, The Observatory, The Monk Convent, and The Water Well where human sacrifices were performed are just a few of the magnificent buildings and sites you tour and admire. A professional tour guide shows you every building, teaches you the customs, tells you mystical stories and describes how the Mayas became the most powerful civilization in the area, and why we still don't know for sure how or why the disappeared. After your guided tour you also get free time to explore on your own, and after lunch we visit the legendery Cenote of "Ik-Il".

Be sure to wear light comfortable clothes, such as cotton, comfortable shoes, and bring along a bottle of water for the morning, (refreshments are included with lunch only). If you decide you would like to swim at Ik-Il, you will also want to have a swim suit and towel with you, which you may store on the bus while touring Chichen Itza.
